It's been a busy month in the field. Our annual cooperation with Open Fun Football Schools has enabled us to distribute 4,000 magazines and posters to kids throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina. Direct field activities have included trips to Tešanj and Žepče. The outreach of these trips will enable a further 1,200 kids to receive our educational materials. We're heading back to Tešanj at the end of August also. In September we plan to visit sports clubs in Prijedor, Mrkonjić Grad and Sarajevo, targeting over 2,000 beneficiaries.

Positive Play's magazine, "Positive Pace", is now complete and 12,500 copies of it have been printed for distribution to 12,500 kids in the coming weeks. The magazine contains sections on landmines, small weapons and drug abuse counterbalanced with sections on sport, art & music, healthy eating and environmentalism. Intended to be the principal means through which the organization educates kids in Bosnia and Herzegovina on both the dangers that they face as well as the positive alternatives to exposing themselves to such risks, initial reactions have been fantastic. One reader commented that the magazine should be made available to every child and teenager in every school in the country. Numerous illustrations in the magazine were created by Zdravko Cvjetković, whose great work is currently displayed throughout this website. We once again thank our donors for enabling us to distribute these magazines to thousands of youngsters throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina free of charge.
